Inspired by the fairy tale The Wizard of Oz, this tea packaging integrates the protagonist Dorothy's adventures with the original IP character Blan Bunny to create the world-first functional yet visually appealing "drinkable spiritual tea book". The book-shaped packaging constructs a triple narrative system from three aspects (touch, vision, and taste): the physical ritual of opening the book initiates the exploratory journey, hand-drawn illustrations reproduce Blan Bunny's 20-day fantastical journey in the Emerald City, and 10 aluminum tea sticks with diverse totem designs on its head depict different stages of Blan Bunny's mental growth, serving as both functional carriers and storytelling mediums.
The dynamic experience design aligns with user behavior logic. The story booklet transforms the long-waiting tea steeping into an immersive story reading hourglass through a precise match of reading and steeping times. For instance, the quick dissolution of floral and fruit teas corresponds to the short poem with blank space, turning physical waiting into mental immersion, which is very interesting.
With an innovative product matrix of six tea flavors, this packaging evokes consumers' diverse moods through various scenes: oolong tea's rich and mellow taste echoes the Tin Man's awakening wisdom, and the refreshing purity of white tea reflects Dorothy's heartfelt desire to return home, conveying cross-cultural emotional resonance.
Moreover, the sustainable principles run through the whole product lifecycle. The aluminum tea sticks are fully recyclable. The inner box with a modular slot design can be converted into a multi-compartment storage box, transitioning from a "tea container" to a "life aesthetics carrier," thereby prolonging the emotional value of the packaging.
