NYX Mayfair

Nestled at the edge of the cosmos, the hidden lair of NYX unfolds beneath GAIA Mayfair, a private lounge created in honour of NYX, the Greek Goddess of the Night. The walls are adorned with rich fabrics and shimmering mirrors. Design motifs are inspired by ancient art where NYX is depicted as a winged Goddess. Details include the abstracted feather patterns on the wall cladding. The front of the bar, patterns of the lush fabrics and the art of the carpet. An ornate bar serves as the focal point. Alabaster, moon inspired, lamps and resin skirting softly illuminate guests at the bar. Reflections in the mirrors are reminiscent of a night sky filled with distant galaxies. Ethereal dark blues and deep reds envelop the space. The design concept with the lighting was for the fittings to be concealed, allowing the space to transform from a relaxed lounge to a dynamic and vibrant venue in rhythm with the music. Velvet armchairs beckon you to sink in and relax, while a plush banquette surrounds the space ensuring social interaction as the night unfolds. This private space, where darkness and light intertwine, invites all who enter to partake in the mysteries of NYX. Every element, from the sumptuous fabrics to the carefully curated decor contributes to an intimate environment that feels both luxurious and welcoming, a perfect retreat in the heart of London.
