BIEMLOFEN, a Chinese high-end performance lifestyle brand, has unveiled its groundbreaking global flagship at the VILLA, Prince Bay Garden City in Shenzhen. As a coastal commercial landmark, the store redefines brand architecture by seamlessly merging athletic scenarios with contemporary living, establishing a new paradigm for premium sportswear aesthetics.

Occupying 857.54㎡, the flagship faced a series of spatial challenges including an irregular polygonal layout, dense oblique angles, bisected zones, the absence of vertical circulation, and a low-ceilinged entrance that felt both compressed and unwelcoming. Guided by the principle of “form follows function,” the design team deconstructed the commercial fundamentals of consumer, merchandise, and space through transformative approaches. By repositioning the entry, amplifying the brand’s golf heritage, and integrating lifestyle elements such as a café, the project transmuted constraints into opportunities, delivering a multidimensional experiential environment that resonates with both premium identity and youthful spirit.

Central to the design is the glowing curved staircase, conceived as a sculptural centerpiece that first rises in mirrored black glass to visually expand the space before cantilevering dramatically like a floating ribbon. Its LED-embedded handrails animate with golf-inspired natural motifs, reinforcing the brand’s sporting heritage. Complementing this is a textured glass façade that preserves the original glazing while diffusing harsh daylight through wired glass. Equally striking is the Cannes-inspired red carpet staircase, which ascends through layered crimson panels framed by glass. Visible from outside, it transforms moving figures into a living display, culminating at the summit with the emblematic gentleman figure that embodies triumph and ceremony.

To further unlock potential, the new stone-clad main entrance and double-height lobby establish commanding streetscape presence, anchored by an orange golfer feature wall. A café with a sweeping curved bar and alfresco terrace introduces leisure and social vibrancy, while the third-floor garden evolves into a VIP lounge. Reimagined circulation flows seamlessly from golf collection and café on the first floor, through successive highlights, to collaborations and garden on the third, ensuring a journey that is fluid, immersive, and celebratory of BIEMLOFEN’s unique brand DNA.
