This residential unit is part of a luxury condominium located along the Chao Phraya River in the heart of Bangkok, offering a rare balance between exclusivity, serenity, and urban sophistication. The Mandarin project’s riverside setting inspired the design concept of this residence, titled “Super Yacht.”

The concept embodies more than luxury; it represents a refined lifestyle defined by movement, light, and flow. Just as a yacht glides across water with effortless grace, the design seeks to translate that sensation into a living experience that connects the fluidity of the river with the rhythm of contemporary city life.

Every design element was carefully curated to express this narrative. A sculptural chandelier suspended in the main living area evokes the image of air bubbles rising through water, while the custom wall panels feature soft, streamlined curves reminiscent of a yacht’s elegant structure. The carpet pattern subtly mirrors rippling waves, enhancing the sense of motion throughout the space. Together, these elements create an atmosphere that is both dynamic and tranquil.

Materiality plays a key role in achieving this harmony. Polished metals, warm woods, and soft fabrics reflect the interplay between craftsmanship and technology, balancing tactile comfort with visual precision. The palette transitions naturally between light and shadow, echoing the ever-changing reflections of the river outside.

Beyond aesthetics, the residence integrates innovation through an advanced home automation system. Lighting, temperature, and mood scenes are designed to respond intuitively to the resident’s lifestyle, enhancing comfort and personal connection.

Ultimately, “Super Yacht” is not just an interior design concept but a philosophy of living. It captures the essence of modern riverside life, elegant, fluid, and deeply personal. Through its seamless integration of form, material, and technology, the project redefines what luxury means in a contemporary urban context.
