Transforming the second floor of the City Gallery, the "Building Hong Kong for Tomorrow" exhibition pioneers the exploration of urban planning and infrastructure development in Hong Kong through advanced technology and interactive displays. The exhibition is thoughtfully divided into four main sections, ranging from macro to micro perspectives.

Each section is enhanced with the latest technological innovations, providing visitors with an exceptional and engaging experience. The ambience is augmented by reflective stainless steel blueprint panels suspended from the ceiling, which dynamically capture and reflect all moving images, creating a vivid, immersive environment.

A stunning 270° LED dynamic tracking screen provides an immersive view of Hong Kong’s extensive urban planning. As visitors walk over a mapped floor, relevant areas pop up on the screen with detailed project videos, deepening their emotional connection to the city’s future transformations. Additionally, three interactive kiosks showcase the progress of various projects across Hong Kong.

The exhibit "Flying over the Northern Metropolis" allows visitors to control a virtual drone, gaining an aerial perspective on northern developments, viewed through an urban planner's lens. The KYCAI game lets visitors design towns on tablets, contributing to a collective city model on a giant screen, merging education with interactive technology.

The immersive CAVE projection allows visitors to experience details of the innovative advancements in the Hong Kong's transportation and infrastructure sectors. These exhibits not only provide information but also deepen the visitor's understanding through interactive and visual effects, making complex projects more accessible and engaging.

The final part "Walk of Life" includes six scenes with life-size mirrors, enabling visitors to envision and project their ideal life in the future of Hong Kong. This interactive feature not only provides a unique photo opportunity but also inspires visitors to imagine themselves in future scenarios.

The exhibition transcends traditional displays by offering a comprehensive, engaging, and interactive experience that closely connects visitors with the future of Hong Kong. Besides, a Content Management System (CMS) has been implemented to facilitate easy updates, ensuring the exhibition remains timely and relevant.
