Spanning 7 kilometers and covering 50 hectares, the Qujiang Riverfront Landscape Belt is a systematic urban revitalization conceived as a narrative-driven public space. Moving beyond the traditional single-function park model, our design weaves four distinct threads—ecological restoration, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) wellness culture, regional history, and smart technology—into a cohesive experiential sequence. This narrative unfolds along "Ten Poetic Views," each acting as a strategic 'landscape acupuncture point' to elevate the project from mere beautification to profound cultural empowerment.

The design is anchored by historical landmarks like a 600-year-old camphor tree and the ancient "Zhangtan Ferry," revitalizing the city's memory. Ecologically, it restores a 5,000 sq.m riparian wetland and transforms monotonous lawns into exploratory orchards to enhance biodiversity. Its core innovation lies in the tangible translation of profound TCM culture—materialized through "The Miraculous Hands" sculpture honouring a famed physician, interactive water features simulating the body's energy points, and a new Chinese-style tea house for immersive wellness experiences.

Functionally, the project establishes a dynamic sports and wellness corridor for all. A multi-dimensional circulation system—featuring a 10km municipal greenway, a 4m-wide composite track for cycling and running, and waterfront promenades—creates a venue for both daily fitness and large-scale events like smart fluorescent night runs. The space is meticulously zoned to be an all-weather, all-season destination for every generation: from a children's dream paradise and dedicated courts for tennis and basketball to tranquil plazas for seniors to practice Tai Chi and play gateball, ensuring a harmonious balance of activity and serenity.

Ultimately, this project acts as precise "urban acupuncture," not only reactivating the waterfront but also forging a deep, meaningful connection between residents and their city's cultural roots. Its unique narrative and memorable TCM-themed landmarks have established a distinct urban icon, setting a new benchmark for culturally-driven, ecological public space design.
