The Coree Brand Manual redefines the way a brand communicates.
Using an expandable binder system instead of a fixed format, it allows continuous updates as the brand evolves—becoming a “living, growing brand archive.” This flexible structure breaks the static nature of traditional manuals, embodying Coree’s spirit of scientific inquiry and constant innovation.
The cover design draws inspiration from The Zhoubi Suanjing, combining a circular cutout with a square form to symbolize the ancient Chinese concept of “the round heaven and the square earth.” It represents the origin and endless cycle of all things, reflecting Coree’s interpretation of harmony and balance in Eastern aesthetics.
Through a restrained, minimalist visual language, the manual narrates Coree’s twenty-year journey of development, research, and representative products from a scientific perspective—revealing the timeless beauty of rational design. The use of eco-friendly Hanji paper further expresses Coree’s respect for both nature and cultural heritage.
