As society continues to evolve, animals are no longer viewed merely as companions, but as living partners who share daily life and emotional bonds with humans. The design team believes that truly effective animal protection should not rely solely on systems and regulations; it must also be rooted in empathy, understanding, and emotional connection.
With this belief, the project began from the perspective of life education, using theatre as its medium. Through the original stage production The Stray Diary of Boss Black Cat and Archie, the project narrates the life journey of stray animals in a language that children can understand and feel drawn to. The story conveys a gentle yet powerful message: being a stray is not the end—love is the direction that leads home.
The most distinctive aspect of this project lies in its deliberate avoidance of directly addressing heavy and complex issues such as abandonment, homelessness, or illegal animal trade. Instead, these themes are translated into a narrative framework that children can approach with openness and curiosity. The characters are portrayed through anthropomorphic perspectives, allowing animals to become active narrators of their own stories rather than passive subjects of discussion. This narrative shift enables audiences to naturally develop emotional resonance and empathy, fostering deeper understanding through storytelling rather than instruction.
