Like the preface of a book being opened, a warm light is gently lit at the entrance.

Originally defined by a dimly lit foyer, this project reinterprets the entry sequence through a renewed palette of warm-toned wood veneer cabinetry. A curved ceiling paired with a full-height mirror enhances spatial fluidity and visual depth. The display cabinet, accented with a gold spherical wall lamp, forms a focal vignette reminiscent of an art gallery.

Alongside, a cantilevered shoe cabinet reduces visual mass while providing ample storage, with terrazzo mosaic flooring beneath adding subtle visual interest. Together, these elements create a walk-in foyer with an artistic ambiance, elevating the everyday act of returning home into a meaningful ritual.

A well-crafted space is like a book worth savoring—one that continues to write new chapters of life.

To accommodate the couple’s shared love of reading, the open-plan living and dining area incorporates aluminum-framed sliding doors with clear and reeded glass. This design introduces natural daylight while maintaining spatial privacy. Hidden doors and a minimalist TV wall further reduce visual clutter, fostering a calm and expansive environment where the joy of reading is unhindered by spatial boundaries.

The color scheme centers on a smoky gray accent wall behind the sofa, complemented by a handcrafted custom pendant light and gold-accented linear shelving as subtle highlights. The result is a humanistic interior that is minimalist yet rich in character.
