About The Entry

In response to the common challenge of children's restlessness during long-haul flights, this project transforms the aircraft window into an interactive science education space. By providing children with immersive geographical knowledge content, the project effectively alleviates their travel anxiety and reduces cabin noise. This solution not only eases the pressure on parents and fellow passengers but also turns air travel into an enlightening journey of exploration. When children activate the AR feature of Kiddyfly on the plane, they embark on an exploration adventure. Kiddyfly will introduce airport facilities and the process of aircraft takeoff. When flying over cultural landscapes, Kiddyfly will inform children about the cultural backgrounds and significance of these landscapes. For instance, when the Statue of Liberty appears below as the plane flies overhead, children will learn about its historical background as a symbol of friendship and freedom. Kiddyfly also excels in imparting natural knowledge. When children peer curiously through the aircraft window at the variously shaped clouds outside, Kiddyfly's AR immediately comes into play, demonstrating how clouds are formed. The screen will display vivid animations. Abstract and complex meteorological knowledge becomes intuitive, understandable, and highly engaging under Kiddyfly's presentation. This not only satisfies children's innate curiosity but also greatly broadens their horizons, allowing them to appreciate the charm of the natural world. Kiddyfly also serves as an "energy expender" for children. It provides an excellent platform for children to release their boundless energy. When children become fully immersed in Kiddyfly's interactive activities, their energy is fully channeled. This release of energy not only makes children physically moderately tired but also mentally calms them down. Kiddyfly has the enchanting power to turn a tedious flight into a cherished memory. After the flight ends, users can access a detailed summary of the journey through the app and receive souvenirs exclusively tailored to the flight route. This helps, firstly, reinforce children's memory of the knowledge they've gained during the flight; secondly, it leaves them with memorable keepsakes. Every interactive experience with Kiddyfly has the potential to become a topic that children are eager to share and discuss among themselves.
