About The Entry

Nexus is an intelligent mobile charging robot system specifically designed to solve electric vehicle charging dilemmas in aging urban residential communities. In these areas, infrastructure limitations such as lack of fixed parking spaces and inadequate power grids make traditional charging pile installation nearly impossible.

The system utilizes a modular "robot-to-car" approach. It consists of an autonomous delivery robot, high-capacity swappable battery packs, and a centralized charging station. Through the dedicated Nexus App, users can request a charge at their vehicle's location. The robot autonomously transports a battery pack to the car, inserts the charging gun via an integrated robotic arm, and leaves the pack to charge the vehicle independently. This allows the robot to remain mobile and serve other users. Nexus provides a flexible, safe, and efficient energy solution without requiring large-scale, costly grid renovations, significantly improving the accessibility of green mobility for residents in older neighborhoods.
