Lio Lio Bunny is an art toy IP designed to address the psychological needs of modern urban populations. Rooted in the system of Oriental aesthetics, the design aims to alleviate the emotional anxiety caused by a fast-paced lifestyle through concrete visual imagery. More than a mere display ornament, the product transforms the abstract concept of inner peace into a tangible visual symbol. It conveys a philosophy of slowing down through specific morphological languages, offering users a spiritual buffer and emotional companionship.
To achieve differentiated emotional expression, the design team developed seven specific body movements named Sitting Oblivion, Transcending, Palms Together, Breathing, Unrestrained, Meditation, and Carefree. These seven models abandon the exaggerated or bizarre visual styles common in traditional art toys. Instead, they adopt stretched and restrained movement designs that precisely correspond to the mental states of users in various life scenarios. This systematic posture design enables the product to serve as an emotional vessel, guiding viewers into a relaxed psychological state.
The product form follows minimalist design principles, featuring an overall silhouette composed of round, smooth curves without any sharp angles. The iconic long ears are derived from the geometric form of the brand initial L. Combined with facial details depicting closed eyes in rest, the design intuitively presents visual characteristics of quietness and introspection. The color scheme utilizes low-saturation traditional Chinese colors such as Charcoal Black, Deep Green, Agarwood, and Rice White. This visual approach aligns with the subtle nature of Oriental aesthetics while ensuring the product remains visually appealing and integrates well into various environments.
The product utilizes fine-touch polystone and ceramic craftsmanship to simulate a warm, jade-like texture, satisfying the psychological need for tactile interaction. The design scope extends from standalone art sculptures to practical home decor. This expansion includes functional products such as breathing lights, incense holder sets, and chopstick rests, along with a companion character named Lio Lio Puppy. By combining artistic forms with daily home functions, the design enhances practicality and increases the frequency of interaction within living scenarios.
