Amid the rapid development of the city, this project creates a tranquil retreat where people can reconnect with themselves, nature, and the essence of life. Instead of escaping to remote landscapes, the design introduces a serene spiritual sanctuary within the urban environment, allowing visitors to temporarily slow down, release external pressures, and experience a harmonious relationship between people and space.
Inspired by the theme of a “floating realm of the mind,” the design integrates the coastal characteristics of Hainan, the architectural texture of arcades, the Eastern philosophy of blank space, and the relaxed rhythm of nature into the clubhouse environment. It creates a poetic setting that reflects the idea of returning, inhabiting, and coexisting, where cultural memory and contemporary lifestyles blend naturally.
Taking the flow of waves as the spatial concept, the design transforms the rhythm of water into architectural language. Curved lines extend the movement of waves, while metal, marble, and refined textures create a delicate atmosphere reminiscent of sunlight reflecting on the sea. Geometric forms soften the rigidity of the architecture, allowing warmth and structure to coexist. Rather than relying on symbolic decoration, the space explores the essence of natural forms and pays tribute to the city's connection with the ocean.
Inspired by coastal plants and seaside landscapes, artistic floral installations reinterpret the energy of waves through natural materials and traditional craftsmanship. The combination of light, scent, texture, and form transforms the space into more than a visual experience—it becomes a carrier of regional culture and emotional connection.
Drawing from the traditional Eastern garden technique of changing scenes through movement, the design allows greenery, water, light, and architecture to merge seamlessly. Natural materials soften spatial boundaries, creating an atmosphere that feels both carefully designed and naturally formed. Through the interaction between human presence and the environment, the space achieves a quiet balance between order and relaxation, offering a gentle refuge within the rhythm of modern urban life.
