I consider myself a product designer with a passion for multidisciplinary exploration. Throughout my design journey, I've delved into diverse projects, from environmental design to interaction design and industrial design. Embracing these varied experiences has allowed me to gather valuable knowledge and insights that enable me to build holistic systems around products.

2. What made you become/why did you choose to become a designer/artist?

Becoming a designer was a natural choice for me because I've always been drawn to the problem-solving aspect of it. The thrill of finding creative solutions to real-life challenges is incredibly fulfilling. As a designer, I have the opportunity to transform ideas into tangible realities, which is immensely gratifying.

3. Tell us more about your agency/company, job profile, and what you do.

I am currently working at an AI company in the US, and I am incredibly excited about the opportunities it presents. As a part of the team, my job profile involves leveraging my design skills to create intuitive and user-centered experiences that integrate AI technologies seamlessly. Working in this AI-focused environment empowers me to contribute to the foreseeable future by enhancing human-technology interactions.

4. What does “design” mean to you?

To me, design is a captivating problem-solving process that blends creativity with logic and systematic thinking. It's a methodical approach to crafting solutions that address real-world challenges and improve people's lives.

5. What’s your favorite kind of design and why?

My favorite kind of design is one that involves thinking about the entire product ecosystem. I enjoy logical and systematic approaches that consider the user's needs and seamlessly integrate aesthetics and functionality.

6. To you, what makes a “good” design?

To me, a "good" design is one that strikes a harmonious balance between being systematic, logical, and user-centered. It should be built upon a well-thought-out structure and clear principles, ensuring coherence and efficiency. The user's needs and goals should be at the core of the design, providing a seamless and intuitive experience. Simultaneously, it should align with the objectives of the service or product supplier, creating a win-win scenario.

7. How did you come up with the idea for your award-winning design?

The idea for my award-winning design emerged through a combination of keen observation and in-depth research. By thoroughly examining the existing product system and understanding its strengths and weaknesses, I identified areas for improvement and innovation.

8. What was your main source of inspiration for this design?

My main source of inspiration for this design stems from my deep appreciation for thorough research. Throughout the design process, I cherish both user research and market research, along with insights into the company's visions and goals. Gathering all this valuable information allows me to create an extensive information library, where I can organize and retrieve useful data.

9. Do you think your country and its cultural heritage has an impact on your design process?

Absolutely, my country and its cultural heritage have a profound impact on my design process. Growing up in a fairly international and diverse environment has provided me with a broader perspective, enabling me to understand different market dynamics, societal structures, and human behaviors. This understanding helps me identify patterns and unique opportunities that may be overlooked by others.

11. Can you explain a bit about the winning work you entered into the London Design Awards, and why you chose to enter this project?

The winning work I entered into the London Design Awards showcases my approach to designing products from a holistic system level. I carefully selected these projects as they best represent my design philosophy. They encompass two distinct aspects: one project is more enterprise-focused, catering to organizational needs and objectives, while the other is deeply customer or user-focused, emphasizing seamless user experiences.

12. What were the main challenges you faced during the design process, and how did you overcome them?

During the design process, the main challenges revolved around research and gathering sufficient information to build a robust system. To overcome these obstacles, I dedicated significant time to conducting user interviews, extensive market research, and first-hand observations. These efforts enabled me to develop a well-informed and user-centered design that addressed the complexities of the project effectively.

The ever-evolving nature of the industry, the interaction between people and the market and the freedom to unleash my creativity and think outside the box to solve complex problems

I approach each project with a holistic perspective, ensuring that I understand and address the requirements of users, clients, and other relevant parties. By doing so, I can create win-win solutions that align the interests of all involved, leading to successful outcomes that satisfy everyone.

16. Where do you see the evolution of design industry going over the next 5-10 years?

Over the next 5-10 years, I foresee the design industry embracing significant advancements, especially with the integration of AI. As technology continues to evolve, we might witness innovative design applications in augmented reality, virtual reality, and sustainable design, leading to a more interconnected and socially conscious design industry.

Prioritize passion over seeking awards. Use the platform to advance your design career genuinely, showcasing your unique vision and talent.
