The core concept for the project was to create a space reminiscent of an aged room which froze in the misdst of a restoration process: covered up cracks on the walls, renovated arches.

The clients were a team of ladies working in luxury retail, who had taken countless work trips around the world and therefore had seen plenty of beautiful interiors.

So by the time we started the work on the project, they already had a clear vision for the general ambiance of the space and which elements they wanted to implement: “cracked walls like in an antique Parisian apartment, hand-painted wallpaper like in Los Angeles, stock room, like once seen in a dream, fitting rooms where you can walk barefoot, Sex & the City inspired dressing room, vintage hanger racks like in Dolce & Gabbana”

The key idea for the floor planning solution was to place two fitting rooms, the main store area, resale section, lounge area and reception on 67m2 . to solve a storage problem and not to overcrowd the store, we proposed building a large mirrored closet, which would disappear into the space. We added statement mirrors with soft lighting in the fitting rooms, warm ceiling lights to add coziness, plush velour curtains, round ottomans and a fluffy carpet.

we needed to separate the resale section reception area from the main store, that’s how the idea for arches and metal mesh for more privacy was born. At the entrance you are greeted by an American wallpaper Maison C, and behind the reception desk there’s a specifically painted wall, which serves as a projector screen.

Almost all pieces were custom made based on our design. We created this interior piece by piece, with attention to details, some things transformed along the way, some got removed, some added. And in the end everything came together just like the clients vizualized.
