Hualien is a port city close to the Pacific Ocean. The natural sea breeze has nurtured countless changes and transitions. The project blends the essence of Eastern and Western design, exploring the rhythms of human habitation in the structure of landscape paintings and presenting different shades of grey perfectly in each area. The stone pattern and moru glass delineate the trajectory of life one moment at a time, while the herringbone wooden flooring highlights the texture of the space. Finally, natural daylight illuminates the comfortable residence.

Instead of recreating the impression of the city's coast, the project returns space to nature. The culture of the ocean has existed longer than human civilization. In a culture that transcends time, the tides beat against the shore and the waves form an erosion trench with the earth's crust, just like the design of the texture represented in the space. The veins of the waves depict thousands of years and centuries.
