The narrative of the space aims to create a distinctive sense of place and shopping experience. Using the 1970s as a narrative link, it constructs an "OLD ORDER UNDERGROUND" subway setting. The store offers an informal, relaxed shopping environment with an immersive experience that is both "familiar and unfamiliar," designed to reduce customers' psychological defenses and resistance while deepening brand impression. The entrance signage inside the store creates a "subway station entrance" scene, using the concept to weaken the abrupt and oppressive feeling caused by high overhead beams. Lighting, signage, and display systems all revolve around the "subway" theme to further enhance the immersive experience. The appearance of clothing racks mimics airport security machines, and the shoe displays resemble security conveyor belts. The signage system continues the subway theme, adapting to the spatial attributes and purposes to present content in a way that cleverly integrates into the space, guiding traffic flow and enhancing the atmosphere.By creating a space that the public finds relatively familiar, we aim to foster a sense of closeness and comfort. The reappearance of certain old elements, along with visual differences attributed to the space's unique attributes, evokes a sense of novelty, spark curiosity and encourage exploration. We aim to maximize the richness of experience within the limited space. By utilizing the open area outside the venue, we use blue and white mosaic tiles, complemented by themed installations like banana boats and swim rings, to create a vibrant and vacation-like swimming pool. This evoking joy and providing a pleasurable and relaxing experience. The highly recognizable scene draws people's attention and encourages them to linger. Above the entrance, a faucet design with a cascading "sneaker water column" symbolizes the space's attributes. The swimming pool scene naturally reduces the distance created by the original steps, creating a more relaxed atmosphere and stimulating customers' desire to explore the store. The flexible and varied display system turns functional elements into photogenic check-in points.
