The design incorporates modern elements by showcasing material contrasts, such as black wood veneer, gray artistic coating, and white marble, paired with mixed-material inlays to create a minimalist aesthetic with an extended visual effect. The TV wall stands out with its striking marble paneling, which exudes a sense of tension and sophistication, further enhanced by indirect lighting embedded within the wall. At the corner between the first and second floors, the design integrates a figurine display area with storage cabinets, illuminated by linear lighting and complemented by gray mirrored cabinet doors, adding depth and refinement to the space. In the master bedroom on the second floor, the wardrobe seamlessly combines with the TV wall, optimizing storage while maintaining a sleek and cohesive design. On the fourth floor, the approach disrupts traditional craftsmanship by merging the altar room and tea room into a unified modern Neo-Chinese aesthetic. The sofa backdrop features black natural veneer paired with oversized tiles, creating an L-shaped visual extension that enhances the sense of depth and space. In the master bedroom, specialized craftsmanship seamlessly integrates wardrobe sliding doors with the TV wall. The tea room boasts walls adorned with natural cypress wood panels, accented by hand-painted landscape art. In the living room, the figurine display wall is crafted with mineral paint, iron fixtures, and illuminated strips, offering a striking yet refined showcase. The tea room on the fourth floor further highlights its theme with a feature wall composed of natural cypress wood panels. Recycled materials from the existing structure were refurbished and incorporated, preserving the natural fragrance of solid wood while adding a textured quality to the shared space. The overall layout of the interior space is limited, but the design cleverly employs extended forms and strategic material choices, such as stone-like finishes and decorative rocks, to enhance visual depth and recreational functionality.
