SENSE OF LIFE, located south of Xiaoshan Century City, takes “the magnificence of life” as its theme, creating the “Seven Enchanting Realms of Lixiang” that transcend spatial boundaries. Embracing Oriental modernity within lush greenery, it offers residents poetic encounters amid the city’s bustle.
The west entrance serves as the community’s main gateway, featuring architectural columns, rooftop forms, and a grand spatial sequence. Concise modern Oriental landscape design, regular paving, curved luxury stone walls with metal accents, and a central water feature with an exclusive Oriental-style sculpture establish a dignified arrival experience. Greenery and carefully integrated materials, forms, and lighting balance elegance and artistry.
Beyond the gate lies an enclosed water courtyard defined by geometric order. Stepped water features, petal-shaped tree pits, and lush planting harmonize with wall fountains, blending modern refinement with natural serenity. From here, a covered corridor leads to the Oriental Modern Layered Water Courtyard—sunken terraces with waterfalls and stone paving that contrast with organic planting, creating dynamic spatial progression.
The Emerald Water Courtyard features reflective water surfaces, metal wall details, and a balance of soft water with solid stone and architecture. Unique seating areas combine functionality and aesthetics, crafting a landscape of ritual and comfort.
Within the park, the Wind-Rising Cloud Corridor uses dark stone walls and ceilings to filter light, fostering calmness. Flower vessels with twisting forms and elegant greenery add vitality, while a tree-shaded resting space offers quiet leisure. Architecture and landscape merge through materials and tones that echo the natural environment.
A sunken courtyard west of the private dining area continues the modern Oriental style. Transparent glass walls blur indoor-outdoor boundaries, while ornamental trees, red maples, layered greenery, moss, and gravel foster a natural wild charm. Sandy ground lines recall Oriental aesthetics, creating a poetic, intimate space where nature and architecture coexist harmoniously.
Overall, the project condenses spatial design into a microcosm of modern elegance, Oriental charm, and layered stereoscopic beauty. Through water, greenery, stone, and carefully orchestrated sequences, it offers residents a dignified yet intimate living environment—one that celebrates both the grandeur and the serenity of life.
