OUROBOROS is a multi-screen 3D animation. The project draws inspiration from Ouroboros, a symbol meaning "self-devourer." Depicted as a snake eating its own tail to form a circle, it represents an "endless cycle" of birth, death, and regeneration. Ecologically, it embodies a self-sustaining, sustainable system. As one of humanity’s oldest symbols, Ouroboros appears across various ancient civilizations, reflecting its cross-cultural universality.

It tells the story of a snake that, driven by hunger, devours things around it. As its desires spiral out of control, it devoured everything in the world and eventually turns to devour itself, leading to self-destruction. In the end, the snake is reborn, leaving the audience with an open-ended question: how will it now navigate the relationship between its desires and the environment?

Through this narrative, the work metaphorically examines humanity’s relationship with nature, suggesting that self-centered and greedy behaviors not only harm the environment but also lead to self-destruction of humanity. Only the sustainable way of living can achieve harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.
