LONYATT's design is inspired by the Taihao Mausoleum, a key cultural icon in Huaiyang, the cradle of Chinese civilization. We deeply reinterpreted its triple-courtyard structure and the Eastern philosophy of "Rite, Sequence, Totality, Propriety" through a contemporary architectural design language. Instead of replicating traditional symbols, we extracted the essence of its spatial wisdom. The goal was to create a domain that transcends mere rest. It is a bridge between ancient heritage and modern resort experiences—a sensory sanctuary for a deep dialogue with history, nature, and the self, thus redefining the essence of an Eastern vacation.

The design artfully arranges this philosophy into a three-part, progressive spatial narrative. The entrance, "The Beginning of Rite," guides a natural transition from clamor to tranquility. The journey continues to the light hall, "The Realm of Sequence," a space alive with the poetic interplay of daylight, materials, and wind. The narrative culminates in the inclusive lobby, "The Embrace of Totality," where guests encounter local cultural art, completing a ceremonial immersion. Inspired by stone, wood, earth, and water, natural textures become vessels for emotion, allowing the architecture itself to guide one back to inner calm.

This meditation on boundaries reaches its climax in the guest room design. An open layout "dissolves boundaries," using "semi-transparency" and "fluidity" to reconstruct the space's sense of breath and gently translate the relationship between interior and exterior. LONYATT is no longer a transient station, but a healing sanctuary built of wood, stone, light, and wind. Here, serenity and luxury are not in opposition; they have the same breath. It is a place for the weary soul to remain and reconnect with its own inner rhythm, truly redefining the tranquility and elegance of an Eastern vacation.
