Nantong Xinghu Yue

The Xinghu Yue Plot sits adjacent to Nengda Ecological Corridor. As a value benchmark of exquisite ecological residences in the area, this project aims to rebuild an unbounded coexistence order of "human beings – architecture – nature". Surrounded by superior lake ecological resources, the design team deeply integrates natural scenery from the ecological corridor into the residential compound. Meticulously crafted as a poetic dwelling harmonizing lake and city, it creates an all-time viewing community featuring luxury, ecology and integrated coexistence, enabling residents to immerse themselves in resort-style living where nature and refinement converge.
The front courtyard adopts a core design strategy of drawing outdoor scenery inward and connecting seamlessly with the park, forming a transparent, artistic entrance façade. The 40-meter-wide homecoming interface is accented with luxury stone and delicate landscape walls, paired with distinctive metal screens that blur spatial boundaries and frame exclusive lake views into the compound. A winding layout delivers ever-changing vistas at every turn, shaping a highly recognizable contemporary artistic landscape sequence. It realizes the transition from public urban space to private residential quarters and delivers distinguished ceremonial senses upon homecoming.
The central landscape zone redefines residential fundamentals with a pursuit of ultimate ecology. Even without occupying space for enclosed courtyards, the project achieves a high green coverage rate of 38%, surpassing conventional community standards and enabling seamless communication between residents and nature. Great craftsmanship is applied to plant selection: premium varieties including mature fruit pomegranate trees, old wintersweet, sculptural Chinese tallow trees, olive trees and Ilex rotunda are carefully picked to balance graceful forms, color layers and seasonal variations, forming a natural landscape akin to a botanical art gallery. A slanting Chinese tallow tree, hailed as the "Rolls-Royce of tallow trees", stands at the spatial heart. Extensive coordination secured its introduction to the site, serving as the soul highlight of the front landscape and turning natural art into an exclusive symbolic asset of the community.
