Hua Miao Show is a visual design and cultural and creative derivative project with the theme of embroidery culture of large flower seedlings. This project extracts visual elements from traditional Miao embroidery costumes, embroidery patterns, festival imagery, and ethnic colors, transforming the complex, vivid, and rhythmic graphic language of traditional Miao embroidery into a visual system suitable for contemporary communication. The work is not simply copying traditional patterns, but through graphic reconstruction, color enhancement, and layout redesign, it forms a more recognizable, communicative, and youthful expression of Miao embroidery culture in the modern visual context.
In terms of visual language, this project mainly uses high saturation colors, symmetrical patterns, floral structures, character dynamics, and decorative lines as the main expressions. The screen extensively uses strong contrasting colors such as rose red, fluorescent green, cyan blue, orange yellow, black and white, echoing the warm, dense, and vivid aesthetic characteristics of Miao embroidery itself. At the same time, the design breaks down traditional embroidery patterns into basic units such as petals, fish shapes, geometric trimmings, and clothing patterns, and forms a modern graphic system with visual impact through enlargement, overlap, rotation, and collage.
The overall project includes the main visual poster, cultural information page, pattern extension graphics, and application design of cultural and creative products. Through these methods, traditional cultural content can be transformed into visual expressions with a sense of exhibition and trendiness. At the same time, traditional embroidery is no longer just a cultural symbol to be viewed, moving from static display to daily use scenarios, and becoming a life oriented design resource that can be carried, used, and disseminated.
