The public area which includes entrance, dining room, living room and open kitchen can be connected by activity line, while the private area consists of the multi-purpose room, children’s room and master suite.

Based on minimalism, the naturalness and transparency of the home can be created with Kabuki openwork floor lamps, vital greenery, black iron art and natural textures.

The entrance is made of white customized cabinets through the roof, and the Western-style kitchen island is set up on the opposite side to enclose the Chinese-style kitchen, so that the line of sight passes through the dining room in front of us to the outdoor area, and it is just like standing in the court of the four seasons when stepping into the house.

The design team ditched the traditional back wall and utilized the high ceiling facade, veneer and walls to enclose a quadrangle of space which could help the householder to get rid of his fatigue.

Pure white and metal color collocation highlights the delicatesse and elegance of the dining hall with a height difference, which allows for a horizontal visual extension, revealing the nature and tranquility of the balcony and private areas.

The passageway under the minimalist lights represents a transformation from sensibility to rationality. The double sliding doors are detailed with French window frame elements, which is helpful to record the moments shared by parents and children.

The sectional lines are adopted to delineate the function of the bedroom. The application of glass partitions allows the wet and dry areas of the bathroom and the bedroom to share the light from the wall plaster molding lights.

The essence of this project lies in the fusion of sensibility and sophistication. The former requires a good master of size, materials and elements; while the latter asks for a more scientific and insightful way to plan the unique future life of the homeowner.
