True fineness is attained by constant extending, penetrating, and layering through visual compositions, without resorting to showiness, and instead advocating a respect for the five senses. Delicacy is embedded in every meticulous detail of design, enriching life with greater comfort and convenience, while drawing us nearer to a state of beauty.
In a newly built 88-square-meter interior space, the living and dining areas are planned in an open fashion, creating a concise yet warm atmosphere through the finishing of special paint. Complemented by the overall sleek ceiling design, the approach not only satisfies function and convenience required for modern life but also maintains a spacious field of vision. The designer insisted on using paints and materials that fully comply with green building standards, in an attempt to create a human-centric residence while mitigating the possible effect and depletion on the environment and resources.
By combining clean lines and furniture placement, the design achieves an 80% modern & sleek, 20% warm & cozy spatial expression. The open and large-scale arrangement of the common areas creates a relaxed and stress-relieving effect, encouraging the owner to reevaluate their priorities and strengthen family bonds. Just as the natural, pared-back, and low-stress design of the space promotes quality time spent with loved ones.
