The design is informed by the maritime history of the site and its connection to the origins of insurance, encapsulating the vastness and beauty of the ocean.Drawing inspiration from the rhythmic ebb and flow of ocean tides, this design incorporates gentle curves and fluid shapes to symbolize the perpetual cycle of the sea. The wave-like features integrated into the ceiling and floor contribute to a tranquil atmosphere, while a color palette dominated by neutral tones of sand and driftwood enhances the overall aesthetic. To improve workspace efficiency, modular curved desks are designed to emulate the movement of waves, thereby promoting an organic workflow. Additionally, glass bricks at the entrance serve to filter natural light, increasing brightness while preserving privacy through low transparency. This dual-layered effect ensures that the space remains open and luminous without sacrificing privacy, thereby achieving a harmonious balance between functionality and tranquility that fosters focus and collaboration.
