Aphros is a transformative fashion system inspired by the metamorphosis of a mermaid ascending to land—a metaphor for fluid identity and adaptation in modern life.

The centerpiece is a sculpted top crafted from cutting-edge translucent second-skin material. Voluminous Victorian sleeves and intricate scale-like mesh evoke oceanic grandeur. Its revolutionary innovation lies in a modular lower-body system: the minimalist base pairs seamlessly with diverse bottom wear—from denim and tailored trousers to evening skirts.

Transcending mere clothing, Aphros embraces a "one-piece, infinite possibilities" philosophy to reduce consumption. It merges narrative elegance with sustainable intelligence, redefining the future of versatile dressing.

Aphros redefines versatile dressing through its innovative one-piece convertible module. This foundational garment, crafted from cutting-edge translucent second-skin material, serves as the stable core of the system. Its modularity lies in the interchangeable lower-body component, which allows effortless transition between diverse styles, from tailored trousers and denim to elegant skirts, enabling a single top to adapt to countless contexts. The design merges aesthetic narrative with intelligent functionality, promoting sustainable fashion through reduced consumption without compromising on elegance or expressiveness.

Drawing from the mermaid princess concept, we incorporated grand puff sleeves inspired by the Victorian era as the key design element for the upper body. Initially, the lower section was designed with form-fitting mesh fabric, symbolizing the mermaid’s scales not yet shed. However, considering skin-friendliness and comfort, we replaced it with stretch cotton—a material often used in undergarments. To preserve the visual narrative, a removable mesh overlay was added for the final presentation. For commercial release as a convertible module, the bottom piece will be made of comfortable stretch-cotton fabric.
