The residence has an abundance of natural light and a stunning view. To welcome an abundance of mellow light, the open layout offers a wide path for light to flow freely. In the meanwhile, it connects the living room, study room, dining room, and kitchen, facilitating emotional communication between family members. To create a serene and cozy living space for the homeowners, a warm wood tone serves as the foundation for the space. Along with simple handmade paints, it reduces complexity to embody the aesthetic aspect of simplicity, where less truly is more.

Vintage floral tiles unveil the entryway, and the staggered storage cabinets from front to back ensure a generous space for walking, while the extensive curves at the bottom minimize gaps between the volumes, evoking a sense of visual fluidity. Upon entering the living room, the space under the beams offers both storage and display functions to add such richness and depth to the scene. The TV wall features rustic grayscale paint. Layering textures in different depths can add a humanistic warmth to the pure space. On one side, a grille door ensures good ventilation for the electrical equipment. A half-height low wall delineates the study room. The three-layer arrangement makes the desk and the couch more functional. The first layer is a horizontal tabletop.
