The link UI of this project is designed for the first Cake Festival held by Wuhan Paris Uduo Cake Shop. To consider the user experience and information delivery effect, the designer briefed the theme and special offers of this event in a simple way. What mostly makes this project stand out from other UI of the same kind is barely any redundant ornament. The key information contained in the UI including texts and pictures are well-placed and make the best of the core UI area. Blank spaces are handily used as intervals so that the UI looks reasonable and orderly. The color scheme is intended to highlight the special event attributes of this Cake Festival. The vivid and active colors of the original cake picture are properly used and reasonably infused as a part of the UI. The white background contrasts the eye-catching effect of cakes. This properly considered color scheme not only highlights the theme, but also activates the UI. The compatibility to different screen sizes is also considered to the extent that user can access to the page on different devices. On cell phones, tablets or desktop computers, user is delivered a consistent browsing experience.
