The project, a private club in China’s Hong Kong, serves to entertain important guests and hold banquets. In view of the background of the proprietor who comes from an old and well-known jewelry family, as well as the geographical location of the project, the designer boldly draws up the Old Money Aesthetic design scheme with the post-modern British colonial fashion in Hong Kong, and separates the club into four functional areas, i.e., the reception area, dining area, wine tasting area, and video room, according to the proprietor's established conventions.A curve element serves as the design language in space modeling, which with a sense of flow and surroundings adds a touch of softness and romance to the space. The designer turns cold right angles into a curved arc, which looks smoother, makes the space more open, and reduces edges and corners to avoid bumps and be safer. It is worth noting the designer adopts an antique crystal chandelier purchased by the proprietor in Paris many years ago in the dining area, which looks elegant and noble. The warm yellow light makes the guests feel relaxed and comfy, and also fills the space with cultural heritage and artistic flavor.
