Upon opening the front door, the wood cabinets are coated with a dark Burgundy hue, reminiscent of the crimson front door of the old house in the homeowner's memory, which has gradually lost its luster over the years. Italian terrazzo tiles on the floor reproduce the look of European stone pavement. Modern elements surprisingly create a classical European style, embracing the beauty of contrasts.



Instead of bright and vibrant color contrasts, simple black, gray and white outline the calm living room. Colors with low saturation lead the eye to the greenery outside the window. The subtle backdrop serves as the foil to the main view. The TV wall reveals a main scene with splendid black terrazzo, while the structural columns on both sides are decorated with grilles, which not only add a sense of magnificence but also indirectly outline the gradual changes between order and disorder. The study room with transparent glass partitions can offer a panoramic view. The couch at the window allows the house owners to enjoy the view and unwind. The storage cabinet is accompanied by the piano. The wood hues continue the elegant tone in the space.

For an open kitchen, an effective ventilation system is crucial. Therefore, the height of the canopy is lowered to hide the exhaust hood. The marble kitchen island and dark grey canopy create a serene dining atmosphere. Pipelines are cleverly hidden in the kitchen island to achieve the perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics.

In the master bedroom, a closet serves as a screen to delineate the sleeping area and dressing area, keeping them separated from each other. Meanwhile, light blurs the boundaries. The mellow wood tones, classical trims and warm sunlight create a soothing and cozy ambience.
