This project is a container commercial space with an area of about 3459 square metres.
The client has dedicated decades to environmental protection and green energy, aspiring to create a symbiotic community for agriculture and fisheries through container reconstruction, conveying their natural and sustainable philosophy. The main structure is initially assembled from eight containers, arranged in a pyramid architectural style for a stable foundation. Utilizing geometric blocks from different perspectives, the design showcases sleek modern lines, symbolizing the progression and inheritance of traditional and contemporary agricultural and fisheries technology. The exterior of the building is adorned with shades of orange-red and gray, creating a delicate visual balance that resonates with the sunny and hardworking essence of the harbor.
The lower level is planned as an agricultural health center, while the upper level serves as an art gallery and a space for farmers and fishermen to rest. Just as the interiors are adorned with light touches of white and wooden elements, they remain refined and true to their roots. Nature plays the most ingenious role in this project, with burlap sacks replacing soil, enveloping seeds, and becoming a thriving plant wall irrigated by rain. The sink is sourced locally, using discarded ship parts and gears for reconstruction, aligning with environmental ideals. Beetle paintings add warmth and whimsy, creating a corner of joy for families. The entire project draws from nature and contributes back to it, using shipping containers as carriers, and employing color tones and lines to shape the spatial expression. It deeply embeds the essence of the harbor, transforming it into a generationally sustainable and perpetually thriving space.
