Gathering

The name of the project is "Gathering", which is from the demand for the use of space and the experience it presents. A gathering can be a group of people coming together because of the space, or the core concept of a family reunion. The design team has created a large banquet room that can accommodate a large number of people according to the client's needs, with a three-meter-long dining table where adults can enjoy a drink and a meal. It is noteworthy that the side storage has a duplex-like design, allowing children to play in the spacious area. Lastly, the transparent glass to increase the communication of sight is a wonderful touch.

The project is not only a space for a group of people. For the client’s daily life, the design team has embellished each space with delicate ingenuity. They found the site has high ceilings and planned the ceiling in the public area in a staggered trapezoidal design to extend the view vertically. The long corridor with a progressive ceiling and irregular façade also extends the view horizontally. In this way, the client's family can enjoy a comfortable and grand home.
