Nestled in the woods between lakes and mountains, the project is embraced by lush bamboo groves, taking the surrounding rural natural scenery as its canvas and borrowing the harmonious layout of traditional villages to integrate the buildings seamlessly. This creates a resort homestay that embodies modern aesthetics while evoking a sense of nostalgia.

Distinct from trendy designs solely focused on social media popularity, this project adheres to the operator's brand philosophy of "growing with the land," aiming to foster a lifestyle that embraces nature and simplicity. Through carefully planned courtyard layouts, an inward-growing cluster is created, integrating guest rooms with courtyards to provide guests with the utmost relaxing experience.

The architectural layout seamlessly blends with the terrain, appearing as if it naturally grew from the surroundings, offering guests a diverse and engaging spatial experience. We emphasize the relationship between the building and its environment, ensuring the interconnection of indoor and outdoor scenery. Local plants are introduced to restore the original rural atmosphere.

In the design process, we have referenced the dimensions of traditional Xianning dwellings, carefully arranging the slopes of roofs based on the location, landscape conditions, and sunlight direction of each individual building. The combination of single-pitch and double-pitch roofs enriches the cluster's morphology, exhibiting the relaxed yet ordered beauty of traditional settlements.

The building facade is constructed with natural materials, simple and understated, serving as the perfect backdrop for the environment. The swaying tree shadows harmoniously coexist with the buildings, creating a serene and beautiful ambiance. This design aims to evoke a sense of time and intimacy, merging the trees in the garden with the buildings to showcase different sceneries as time passes.

The indoor spaces employ light and natural materials such as solid wood, textured paint, and stone, maintaining the style of the building and landscape. These materials give the impression of being immersed in a space that seamlessly integrates architecture and landscape, making the design seem invisible upon entry. Furthermore, we have incorporated local and intimate soft furnishings, allowing people to touch the traces of time and the flavors of home.
