The liquor pit is an essential prerequisite for producing high-quality, strong-flavoured liquor. The National Treasure Old Pits of 1573 Liquor stands as the earliest constructed, longest continually used, and most completely preserved original ancient liquor pit group in China. To mark the 450th anniversary of its continuous liquor-making, a commemorative liquor has been introduced to uphold the rich millennium brewing culture and showcase its exceptional quality and historical significance. The liquor packaging resembles a liquor pit with a simulated micro-environment at the bottle's base, capturing the essence of the National Treasure Old Pits. The golden-yellow particles at the bottom of the bottle imitate the soft and refined pit mud - Wudu Stream yellow mud - while the faintly visible "Luzhou Laojiao" within pays homage to ancient liquor pit culture and symbolizes the liquor's outstanding quality. The cap design draws inspiration from the concept that "The highest good is like that of water. The goodness of is that it benefits the ten thousand creatures; Yet itself does not scramble", symbolizing the everlasting vitality of liquor culture through the echoing pattern of water waves. Meanwhile, the design adheres to the palace colour aesthetics, incorporating the traditional Chinese colours of profound red alongside brilliant pure gold as the principal tones, further imparting a luxurious and sophisticated ambience. The intentional alcohol content of 56% vol signifies the harmonious coexistence of the 56 minority ethnic groups in China. Furthermore, the 1.573L capacity honours the year of origin of National Pits Luzhou-flavour liquor, positioning the product as a commemorative liquor. The engraved "National Pits 1573" logo on the bottle's neck enhances brand recognition and achieves the unifying form and function.
