The Abundance Of Everything is a promotional film created for the digital runway of China Fashion Week. Focusing on the theme of “Abundance”, it utilizes digital and artistic means to guide viewers through the development journey and memorable moments of China’s fashion industry since reform and opening up, vividly embodying the innovative fusion of Eastern aesthetics and modern art .
The film, taking the digital human “Phoenix” as the main character, progressively unfolds the story in three chapters, namely Awakening, Source Tracing, and Innovation, profoundly interpreting the cultural significance and future vision of Chinese fashion. In the prologue, Phoenix gently enveloped by silk lies dormant in a mirrored underwater realm; as she rises to the surface, her eyes open. This transition symbolizes the budding stage of fashion concepts and people’s exploration of inner beauty. The second chapter set in Time Suspension Zone continues to use the elements (water, mirrors, etc.) in the prologue, creating an artistic, and conceptual multi-dimensional space. Here, Phoenix encounters multiple versions of herself in the mirrors, each wearing iconic garments from different eras, showing the development journey of China’s fashion industry. The convergence of fashion in diverse times and spaces also reflects the industry’s diversity and inclusiveness. In the third chapter, Phoenix ventures into a dense forest presented in the form of digital point clouds. The scene illustrates the infinite possibilities of AI-powered growth and fusion of digital entities, which suggests that a new era of fashion is coming.
