Riverlight

The site is an old apartment, and the project name "Riverlight" is inspired by the expansive and beautiful river view visible from the windows. Drawing from the impression of the river's flowing currents, the designer incorporated the natural relationship and patterns of water into the design. Through the skillful use of materials and spatial elements, the indoor and outdoor areas achieve seamless integration.

At the entrance, the glass brick partition mimics the movement of water waves, enhancing the transparency and openness of the space. The placement of the lounge area and lift seat in the living room allows residents to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the river view, whether they are working or resting. The TV wall, coated with special paint, symbolizes river sediment, delicately reflecting the traces left by the flow of water, giving the space a dynamic feel as if one were immersed in nature. The design style blends Japanese and modern elements, with a color palette of light tones and wood grains that create a warm and grounded ambiance, allowing residents to experience the serenity and flow of nature within their home.
