Inspired by the Japanese manga "Takumi Sandai" the designer drew from the manga's depiction of a single-family house's courtyard design, emphasizing ventilation and natural lighting. Using these features as a blueprint, the interior structure of a 40-year-old residence was extensively renovated. The third floor’s flooring was partially removed to create a central courtyard that enhances airflow and lighting, integrating the minimalist and functional aesthetics of modern Japanese design. The project not only improves the residents' quality of life but also aims to redefine the use of space, allowing the family to enjoy a harmonious and comfortable connection with nature.

The designer employed slanted walls at the boundaries between the interior and exterior, achieving a balance of privacy, natural lighting, and aesthetic appeal. The dynamic angles break the conventional rigid impression of the house, creating a distinctive and engaging atmosphere.

The courtyard serves as the essence of the design, focusing on ventilation and natural light. Strategically placed small windows enhance the upward flow of warm air, improving indoor comfort. A natural tree planted in the courtyard brings a touch of nature into the venue, complemented by textured walls finished with artistic paint for depth of field. The kitchen island in the dining area, inspired by a café concept, combines functionality with a unique style. Features such as a washing area and wine cabinet cater to the daily needs of the homeowners. Warm ambient lighting further enhances the relaxing atmosphere of the home.

Additional highlights include a pet-friendly area cleverly designed under the staircase and a master bedroom window overlooking the courtyard, adding interactivity and joy to daily life.
