Chao Jin Yuan gourmet restaurant

Chao Jin Yuan Gourmet Restaurant (Zhujiang New Town CBD) specializes in mid-to-high end Teochew cuisine, aiming to bring diners the authentic Teochew flavor. In the pre-design phase, the design team lived in Chaozhou City for more than a month to seek inspiration. Through the preparatory efforts, they finally fused the cultural customs, architectural aesthetics and unique atmosphere of Chaozhou into this restaurant design, as if presenting an aesthetic show called "Impression Chaozho" in this space.

The whole space dominated by a dark colorway is rounded off with wood-grain flooring, simple but chic wood grille, rattan furnishings and wood carvings, brimming with an air of tranquility. Set off by the elegant lighting design, the combinations of color blocks are aesthetically associated with structural overlap and inclusion, effectively enhancing the visually layered experience in this simple space. Even better, the century-old lacquered and gold-foiled wood carvings show a sheen in light, spicing up the whole space with an exquisite charm.

With the well-though-out layout, sophisticated wood carvings, as well as the authentic Teochew cuisine, Chao Jin Yuan Gourmet Restaurant therefore provides diners an gracious, approachable, and agreeable environment, in which their senses are all engaged, as if they were dining in Chaozhou. Rich design languages applied in this space build an association with the city, cultural customs, artifacts, ultimately creating an oasis in the middle of the bustling downtown, where dinners can enjoy a leisure moment, chatting with friends and family while savoring delicacies.
