Tetra Pak’s new workspace provides a contemporary new office for 165 employees in the heart of a modern development in central Warsaw. The 14,000-sq-ft office is designed as an extension of the brand’s ethos and focuses on sustainability.
tp bennett approached the project with careful consideration to inclusive design and cognitive accessibility. The interior was designed using cognitive zoning practices – a system that scrutinises each spaces’ stimulation level – and is thoughtfully planned as a series of independent spaces which transition from high stimulation levels ranging from open-plan areas for collaborative work to quieter (low stimulation levels), more private spaces for concentrated tasks. There are acoustically-treated focus rooms that minimise external noise and help individuals who are particularly sensitive to auditory distractions. Having this range of spaces ensures that all users can find a place to work productively that speaks to their own needs and requirements.
Bold colours inspired by local street fronts and more muted tones indicative of Warsaw’s iconic terracotta roof tiles add a distinct local aesthetic to the interior, with natural materials ¬and earthy tones further reinforcing the connection to nature. Taking further inspiration from the local landscape, tp bennett incorporated organic metallic shapes like pools of water on the ceilings above amenity islands, such as the reception and tea-point. The striking rippled mirror effect mimics the fluidity and tranquility of nearby lakes, acting as a visual centerpiece in the entry and social hub.
