"The City Games" is an installation art piece spread across the entire block and ancient architecture, aiming to explore the profound connection between the city and sports. This work is specially presented during the Paris Olympics and builds a dialogue between Nanjing and Paris through the universal language of sports. It cleverly merges the iconic elements of the two cities—Paris's Seine River and Nanjing's Qinhuai River—into a purple river, serving as a spatial bridge that connects these two historic cities. In a narrow block in Nanjing, this purple river runs through, showcasing Paris's classic sculptures along the way while integrating dynamic sports elements. A key point is a historical architectural relic in Nanjing, where we have specially placed thematic installations on its walls, blending the ancient building with modern art forms. The entire scene creates an atmosphere of classical and romantic charm, symbolizing the cultural exchange between Nanjing and Paris. "The City Games" is not just a visual feast, but also a journey of Sino-French exchange and encounter under the banner of sports.
