Sunshine Island

The site is a pre-owned apartment with a large area of floor-to-ceiling lighting. The design team customized the planning according to the two occupants and took the concept of an island to shape the independence of each area. The open plan allows daylight to be the main character on the island, and the sunlight is filtered into softness by the blinds. The interior is decorated with characteristic but not drastic materials, such as oriented strand boards, wood grain flooring, more glass, and water ripple patterned glass, etc., to orderly decorate each corner and build a comfortable and pleasant small space.

The project is based on the client's collections and hobbies. The adjustable cabinets, open shelves, and circulation reveal the client's characteristics. In the space, the client can sit and lie comfortably and conveniently while enjoying his or her favorite collection.
