As a leading enterprise in China's wine industry, CHANGYU introduces this dry red wine—Lormin Pinot Noir—not merely to meet the market demand for premium Pinot Noir, but to comprehensively showcase the ascendance of China's wine industry and distinctive regional evolution through the product and its packaging design.
Nurtured in the eastern foothills of Helan Mountain in Ningxia, the Pinot Noir grapes benefit from the region's unique climate and soil conditions, yielding wines characterized by intense fruitiness, refined taste, and excellent aging potential. Drawing inspiration from the natural landscapes of this region, the bottle features a retro-inspired illustration that harmoniously blends vineyard landscapes with mountain scenery. This artwork creates a visual ode to terroir characteristics while conveying the brand’s respect for nature and the land. Against a beige background, the elegant black line drawing evokes an atmosphere that combines artistic flair with historical depth, further enhanced by gilded accents that add refinement and a premium feel. Notably, this packaging design masterfully integrates CHANGYU’s iconic elements with regional features. The "CHANGYU Winemaker's Selection" emblem and the "Century-old CHANGYU" seal motif serve as dual authentication marks—one reinforcing the professionalism and credibility of the product, the other symbolizing the brand’s profound heritage and cultural significance.
Beyond functionality and visual appeal, this packaging conveys rich cultural connotations and regional characteristics through its design elements and symbols. It represents a successful venture for CHANGYU and stands as a significant testament to the rise of China’s wine industry and the development of regional wine culture.
