This project includes four exhibition spaces in two sections, the "Discovery Journey of Navigation" exhibition hall and the "Chinese Ocean Civilization" exhibition hall. The Ocean Civilization exhibition hall consists of three exhibition halls. Interpret the rich and profound history of marine culture from different perspectives of natural sciences and human history. The "Voyage Discovery Journey" exhibition hall centers around the history of global maritime exploration and revolves around the historical context of the "Age of Discovery". Through themes such as geographical discoveries, species exchange, and technological progress, it showcases the process of the world moving from dispersion to unity. The exhibition design is based on a timeline, combined with exhibits such as maps, navigation tools, and biological specimens, highlighting the driving role of ocean exploration in the development of human civilization. The exhibition hall displays specimens of ground sparrows discovered by Darwin in the Galapagos Islands, vividly illustrating the formation process of natural selection theory; Simultaneously showcasing the species migration brought about by the Age of Navigation, such as the exchange of flora and fauna between South America and Asia. Simulate different marine environments through light and shadow technology, such as tropical rainforests, polar glaciers, and other geographical features. Thus, the audience can understand that the great discoveries of maritime geography have brought about different living environments for various species in different regions. In terms of design, historical events are connected through a timeline display board and themed videos, supplemented by comparative techniques such as the technological differences between Zheng He's voyages and the European Age of Discovery, to enhance the audience's understanding of the historical context. The exhibition hall is centered around physical exhibits, combined with artistic scene restoration to create an immersive experience. Through large-scale themed sculptures (such as the Zheng He statue and the Qi Jiguang poetry monument) and color tone changes (such as the dark color tone of the Ming Dynasty exhibition area and the cold and metallic feeling of the modern exhibition area), it strengthens the visual distinction of historical stages.
