re:leaf reimagines the lifecycle of disposable packaging by turning waste into growth through intentional repurposing. Conventional wet wipe packaging generates immediate waste, reinforcing a "use and discard" cycle. In contrast, re:leaf invites users to repurpose the end of consumption into the beginning of growth.
After the wipes are used, the package folds naturally into a compact plant pot, revealing hidden seeds inside. What was once waste becomes a vessel for new life. Crafted from eco-friendly molded pulp with a waterproof PLA coating, the package is fully biodegradable - achieving over 20% breakdown within four weeks under composting conditions.
As global demand for molded pulp packaging is projected to double from $6 billion in 2024 to $12.3 billion by 2034, re:leaf represents the next generation of sustainable innovation. Its accordion-fold structure enables effortless compression into a stable pot optimized for plant growth, while its tactile, organic material invites daily interaction and emotional connection. The lid, originally serving as a cover, seamlessly transitions into a saucer supporting the pot, completing the system's functional transformation.
Designed for modern living spaces and office desks, re:leaf transforms everyday surfaces into small gardens, nurturing not only plants but also moments of healing and renewal. Through re:leaf, disposable consumption becomes an act of reciprocity - closing the loop between use, growth, and nature itself.
