“Infinite Borders” is NetEase's real-time sandbox strategy mobile game set in the Three Kingdoms era, renowned for its "no VIP, no storyline, no preset scenarios" core philosophy, setting a new benchmark for SLG innovation. The game features a 4.5-million-grid sandbox map based on historical Chinese geography, supporting real-time clashes among tens of thousands of players. Gamers compete through city-building, resource wars, and alliance strategies. Its unique seasonal system spans 2-3 months per campaign, where terrain and weather dynamically impact military tactics like fire attacks and flood simulations. The deeply integrated social system enables coalition management with diplomatic negotiations and strategic coordination, once hosting 3,000 alliances in a single server battle. The art style blends traditional Chinese aesthetics with military realism, with interface designs winning international accolades like the Red Dot Award. Maintaining a top-three position in App Store strategy games for seven years, it has cultivated a unique player culture ecosystem and esports system.

However, “Version 5.0” suffers from outdated visual language (color schemes, proportions, layouts) and lacks impressive dynamic effects, diverging significantly from contemporary global design trends. The aging visual style increasingly alienates younger audiences, with interfaces perceived as obsolete. To align with rising brand awareness and avoid falling behind competitors, a comprehensive visual overhaul is urgently required to modernize the game's aesthetic framework.
