This case focuses on the core concept of "urban breathing and commercial symbiosis", and carries out spatial reconstruction of the landmark commercial complex in the central villa area of Beijing. The design team broke through the closed boundaries of traditional commercial buildings and grew an open commercial ecosystem with a sense of the future on the original building skeleton of Building 9 through the deconstruction and reorganization of "floating blocks" and "breathing corridors". The project not only continues the planning gene of Xiangyun Town's "stroll style block", but also achieves flexible growth of business formats through modular spatial units. It innovatively implants a "city living room" composite functional body, which can deeply integrate various community activities with commercial scenes, creating a new direction for the construction of the capital's international consumption center city.
