With rising global smoking rates and the tobacco industry’s substantial carbon emissions (up to 84 million tons annually), health and environmental crises have become more severe. To address these challenges simultaneously, this design introduces a three-step visual narrative that intuitively communicates nicotine reduction steps and the corresponding nicotine content levels through clear numerical markers. It also adopts eco-friendly printing practices by minimizing ink usage, promoting environmental protection and reinforcing a “Back-to-Nature” ethos.
The visual journey guides users through three steps, each with progressively lower nicotine content, helping them intuitively track their progress and adapt to the reduction process: Step 1 (0-30 days)—“Awaken,” symbolizing the start of nicotine reduction awareness; Step 2 (31-60 days)—“Embrace,” representing active engagement with the challenge; and Step 3 (61-90 days)—“Transform,” embodying personal transformation.
The packaging is crafted from eco-friendly paper and natural adhesives, with the inner structure featuring a single-piece origami folding design to eliminate unnecessary glue use. From production to disposal, these biodegradable and easily recyclable materials form a circular resource system, perfectly aligning with sustainable design principles.
