Color is the essence of design, yet color accuracy often falters under different environments and light sources. This project presents two standard color-matching instruments designed with the philosophy “Carry the light, master the light.” The Portable Genesis and the Desktop Genesis, embody professional precision. The former is compact and travel-ready, while the latter offers wide-area, high-lumen output. Both integrate real-time illuminance display and sustainable materials to address long-standing challenges in color calibration across industries. They symbolize how creators bring light into their work and return light to their core.

The concept originated from the discrepancy in perceived color due to varying lighting environments, highlighting the lack of portable color-matching tools on the market. With that fundamental need, the team developed two instruments tailored for practical, professional, and portable use. The Portable Genesis acts as a mobile beacon for designers, while the Desktop Genesis adapts to diverse indoor environments. Real-time lighting data display provides designers, QA professionals, producers, and inspection personnel with an efficient communication bridge for color matching.
