The surface of this chair is made of a reversible thermochromic material. After a person sits on it for a while, a red “No Parking” imprint will appear on the seat surface and gradually fade away. As long as the red imprint is still visible, it indicates that the seat is in use, and the user can leave temporarily with confidence. If the user is away for too long (e.g., over 15 minutes), the red imprint will completely disappear, indicating that the seat is now available for other students.
